From 1979 to 1999 we lived north of the 51st parallel, -35 - -40 C was not uncommon. Why did I call this an Inspirational poem? I, at least, find the cold to be inspiring and invigorating...

I think I would have frozen living there. in S. Fla here when the temp drops to 50 I'm freezing. Nice write!!
brrrr...i like cold, but this is a little too extreme...coldest i've ever felt was 52 degrees below zero, with the wind chill, that was too cold for me!! guess that's why i live in texas now...HA! felt the coldness when i read it...invigorating, now where's the damn electric blanket control?? :) have a happy thanksgiving...(((HUGS))) and love, karla. :)
