Punch bowl mistress...ease of ladled smiles
Heart now standing open...waiting in the aisles
Flowered corsaged lady...where did your lover go
Why are you alone tonight, watching others flow
Take out that open dance card, find a way to start
Never lose your patience dance on out for hearts
Romeo is bleeding...he's scared and must pretend
He hurts too much to let go...much less to just begin
His absence is a hint now to just let him leave
He tries but he's impatient...while you still believe
He screams from you this favor he never asked for proof
He spoke of distant pleasures...then you had to goof
This mistress of the punch bowl...educated heart
Clouded eyes of blue now...bluer in the heart
A lot has changed since I became convinced of the fact that we don't have to get it right in this stint. It would be great, but in this phase of the journey we all have much to learn still and error is part of our present existence. While being aware we're not without flaw ourselves, we must be honest enough to get over other's as well. Life is communication and certain frames of mind make it difficult to do that. I enjoyed witnessing this poetic pour of your heart (from the other frame of mind).
