Escorting our muse
Shared ageless beauty and boundless reviews
Dearest of hearts and ageless ambitions
Hold me quick...fast
Keep tight this transition
Tomorrow will come and in all our haste
The sunset will blossom with no after taste
Then just as the midnight collapses around us
Our daydreams balloon ...
Our tears become rusted
Our hearts will regain what beat it remembers
As dawn brings new drama to dying old embers
And daylight reminds us that living is pain
Until nighttime commits us to travel again.
We can learn from the trees that you placed in the image above your eloquent words. It took the trees decades or perhaps centuries to bow their branches over the lane. Thousands of souls may have walked there unaware of the slow bowing of the trees. If one has longevity the perspective on time is different from that of those who are present only for an instant in time. In this life we are misled to believe that we fit into the latter category. But that may be just a part of this illusion that attempts to trap us in its mirage of rapidly vascilating life and death. As painful as it may be to us at time, an illusion it remains.
