~~~You are close by me, My Forever.
How deep and wide will be the ocean of Slumber,
And how recent was the dawn!~~
Kahlil Gabran
In the twilight of the morning
As love's passion wakens up
I feel dizzy with a glow just then
Rosed anticapation...subtle sips form a loving cup
Then there comes another
Leading passions on
Nerves grasp rays of morning
Moaning's stretch... forever strong
Urging every nuance
Take it slow and make it whine
Stroke the very essence
This slick retreat...all mine
Marry every ounce of flesh
Leave no nerve unturned
Grow within my treasures
Stoke these passions... make them burn
Open all my energies
Breathe each breath on fire
Move into me gently
Burst my urgent spires
Make the morning whisper
In a silent hum
Slip into my morning
Until I come undone.
I shared with LeRoy my green eyes for your work today, Susan!! :)) You have a gift for making each nerve-end tingle with your tantalising imagery that is passionate and yet wholly appropriate, as if each word and nuance were an indelible work of art, put together in the perfection of ideal light, preferred shade and perfect utterance. You make vocabulary really work for you and no word is ever out of place. And you make it seem so EFFORTLESS!! Intuitively you seem to "touch the poetic G-spot" with the taste and delicacy of a perfect Lady. I'm in awe. "Marry every ounce of flesh" is positively Shakespearian and "Move into me gently Burst my urgent spires" causes earth to move in my book!! :)) My hat's off to you, dear Susan... and everything else, come to think of the mood I'm in today... but I'll get over it! I must seriously get into Mr Kahlil Gabran... TY and bless you, Kate xx
You're a fine poet, no matter what the subject. After this one, a very well written work, I'm wondsering what you have in mind... bringing together, outdoor nature, and the acts of love; where, how, when? Please show us.
You are fast becoming AD's sensuous poet. Never mind that "fast becoming," I think you are already here. Hot. Sizzling.
