The Meek's Inheritance
They say you have to reason...
Well, honey they were wrong.
Simple is the answer...
For a will that is so strong.
Giving in won't "get it"....
Compromise the norm,
Power play the forefront...
In any shape or form.
Gutsy babe of new age...
Rights are here and now.
Easy as we turn the page.
Men who take the plow...
To till a woman's mindset.
Seeds that flourish well...
Time to weed, my darlin,
Step on out of hell.
Explore the new horizon...
Look, to deem and seek,
Inheritance for yesterdays,
The future's for the meek.
Tis us, we girls...that matter.
No time to laze and nap
It is our hour now to shine
To fill in all the gaps
For woman of the world unite
Your minds are working fine
It's time to get up off your backs
Step up and rise...to shine.
Meekness is perhaps the absence of the will to dominate, to be entirely respectful, equal and willing to help others. Sort of a soft war on spirits who aim at the exact opposite. The outcome of this battle is also exactly opposite to what the dominators of this world condition us to believe.
YOu go girl!;-)...Well Susan it seems Jerry is upset with us. Lets do something real nice for him. Got any ideas;-)...Peter is another story hehehe... Great work Sis!
Both Jerry's Woman O Woman and Susan's Power of Play of the Meek have valid criteria for balancing out the sexes! We can never be sure of the varied opinions we command with our writing through reviews and if we are endeavoring to stifle a false (or true) opinion, then stifling it is an evil. Our effectiveness as writers is not measured by our ability to think we are right in choice of opinion, but it is in how we handle ourselves emotionally after any choice of opinion is offered and reviewed. Woman O Woman and Power Play of the Meek is a far greater barometer of our personal present-moment Den togetherness. I appreciate the two poems equally because I think they are both truth and although I am a staunch feminist, I absolutely cannot go by feminist ettiquette guidelines. They are meaningless guidelines and are composed arbitrarily. A powerful piece that speaks a powerful chunk of Woman, Susan!
Hmnnnnn does this mean no more missionary position? LOL just kidding great write and a great spirit behind it.

I thought you were wanting "nice," looks like you only meant it when it comes to my poem. Wish I hadn't even posted "Woman O Woman," all the trouble it seems to be causing.
