What way can you manifest destiny?
What reason would you have?
Is falling off a cliff as good
As jack-knifing into clouds?
Can the answer help to keep the pains
Away...for all the same
Love that comes along with aches
...the never ending rains
The growth of hearts that once were faint
The lonely searching soul
Always looking not to find
That spirited bright rainbow
Imagine giving in...then what the future brings
The many smiles and comfort there
The never ending dreams
To choose the other...just lie still
Never step a step
Stagnate air, frozen smile
Hollow with no depth
Manifest and thrive...give in
Search the days for worth

Imagination is the creative spark in which ignites the page and no matter how wide the ford, a place for crossing the river is best where the river bends because that's where the gold is, gold runs in a straight line and where the river bends, you must to, and pan that black sand until you find "color." There is a fortune of a wisdom nugget in this poem, Susan. It assays out just fine. Rich words to carry around in a vile of creek water!
Yes the sands of time are running out on all of us so we have to grab the brass ring as we go round and round in this tipsey world of ours and impart the good that is in us before the spark goes out.
Susan, I think you've taken a trip inside my present state of mind...I believe we have just one life...I don't want minee to pass me by...risks are just risks...and we never know 'til we take them be it a leap of faith, following one's heart, or daring to fantasize.
You just have such a special way of getting to the point...and encouraging wings!

Absolutely. There are drawbacks to taking chances, but hell, there is a drawback when you walk across the road, you might get flattered by a beer truck. You penned good advice.
