The photograph was taken by me of the Dingle Penninsuela in Ireland.
I'm weary and full of sienna spots from a searching sun
One that poured its rays upon tender flesh while I had fun
The surf and tides washed me inside.....out
Cleansing a fool of rushed wishes no doubt
Night calls from Ospreys hunting for snacks
Lusting like me from a passionate lack
Standing alone upon a beach of lost time
Monitoring memories through a maze in my mind
The heart of night's mistress laments all her pains
As shadows of midnight drape her with rain
Softly she whispers as a lone tear appears
Soothing her heart from yesterday's years.
this rings all too honestly and it moves one, how all too human, Susan and there is such beauty in your words, they yet tell so much of love and passion and loss and beauty also, but those memories and well, so very moving and with the use of Imagery so much moreso as it is so beautifully done...oh, thank you, dear you and may many hearts be soothed as this one from those years that are gone, from the loss and the pain and the need.
this is quite achingly beautiful, yes...

Superb. And befitting of an island that is rich in faith...
"Softly she whispers as a lone tear appears, Soothing her heart from yesterdays years" Perhaps thats my problem, I can't let the soothing start. In the words of Joni Mitchell "Laughing and crying,
you know it's the same release" Thanks for this Pierre.
Beautiful memoir of a wonderful visit! We have to savor every moment we can from uch trips for the time when we can no longer make them. This is wonderful and I'm so glad you got to go.Thanks for sharing great pic!
We of an age remember the ache of love calling and love fading out on the wind. This poem comes from deep within your heart Susan and I can feel the yearning there as deeply as if it were in my own and perhaps it is.

So beautfuly crafted Susan!!!! This was glorious!!
Carries our attention back to another land, Eire, those waves are a long chapter, Susan...back to a time before poetry was even born. No Doubt is characteristic of Troubadour poetry, a form of which is lyrical and sophisticated, obedient to the Lady's lightest wish where even in our code of etiquette, the woman always has precedence of courtly love...such a medieval sense to this known to many a Troubadour poetess...
I have written a chapter called I Am That, I Am in this inspirational compilation book by best-selling authors and wonderful people from all walks of life xox :-D (Its sister book is called Adventures In Manifesting - Success and Spirituality)
this is quite achingly beautiful, yes...

The lure and attraction of real love can be both painful and ecstatic..
An indefinable and explosive mixture, which I suspect with hindsight, is more potent in the halycon days of youth and gay abandon..
Brilliant stuff
Love and Peace
