Poem Artwork

Love is just a word for some
For others it's a chore
Love is simple and like a breath
A need not to ignore
With richness comes this gem of life
This nuance of the soul
This abyss of all greatness dark
The light where life atolls
The permenance of all being
The detail of each kiss
The tick that is so precious
The heartache when it's missed
The ache and yearn... the pining
The true void of alone
When hearts are meant for others
As believing brings it home
Love is just a word for some
At times it is precieved
As a temporary visitor
Just when it's misconcieved
A trespasser of our hearts
A stab that pangs forever
With scars that are well hidden
Until true love makes it better
True love is a moment
Just when the old comes new
When spirits pick the minute
Then colors have more hue
As rainbows arch the heavens
When eyes open up to see
The other who is waiting
When true love means Believe!

Susan, this is written with much truth, I like it much! True love is rich with words only lovers share, giving of each other, sharing, caring, loving, security, etc., I could go on & on but love is a beautiful thing. Just as your poem says, "True love is a moment...just when the old comes new!" Thank you for posting such a wonderful poem.

A true love takes two people wanting the samething, and both people give, take, and forgive...lovely write I too believe in true love. I am living proof, I married my husband my senior year of high school, he was the boy next door whom I was in love with, twenty nine years later we are still together, two children and two grandchildren, and I still believe in my husband and he in me...great write my friend, beautiful!

I havde to admit that when I noticed this was posted as "Inspirational", I thought it would be a doom-and-gloom- bury-your-head-pray-for-the-end piece (lotta that going on here...bring ya down or what?!!!)But WHEW! You're on a romantic roll lately...gotta love it :) This is a great write Susan. Connected and enjoyed.

This is a superb poem of true love. I not only see true love in it, I see symbolic return of the Lord and Saviour.

Karma Bank to Following By Listening by Chiemi

These song lyrics and art are tales, tides and twinkling lights - tunes telling stories of warmth and sun, city and sand, paths that lead, and the coins we can keep in the Karma Bank. Spirit's been bypassed for sorrow, dreaming of a better tomorrow .
