very interesting this one is. what a relief when we don't have to prove anything. honor is a word we sorely need to hear and see more of these days, don't U think? thanks a million for sharing.
Prove in the realm of illusion is a risk ridden act. As we grow older we learn that many truths of our younger days fade. Our perceptions becomes sharper while our sight wanes and in our hearts and brains the world changes, questions pile and answers lose their unshaking nature of certainty. At some point we may entirely found our faith on the promise of The Most High amid structures that crumble and systems that fail, proving that prove was not worth a single thing. It requires some adjustments but we have chosen to go for the only option that will be left when time wil set. Thank you for creating and sharing. Take care,
Even better is the forever in a special relationship where your poetic thoughts are practiced, Susan. I siad this very thing myself, and recently, just not as poetically and succintctly as you. Well done, my friend. Hope all is well in your new surroundings. Let me know how you are doing.
Love,
Taylor

I like that. I think nothing to prove came with age and experience. Lady J
In full agreement with the message of your poem, may I quote myself? - "Excellent brief poems suggest that brevity is to poetry, as less is to more." In so few and excellent words, you give us truth, personified. Top-notch writing! - Bill

What we all yearn for, yet is ellusive as catching a butterfly...
These song lyrics and art are tales, tides and twinkling lights - tunes telling stories of warmth and sun, city and sand, paths that lead, and the coins we can keep in the Karma Bank. Spirit's been bypassed for sorrow, dreaming of a better tomorrow .
