I always want the impossible
To climb the highest tree
I always want what I can't have
And it all seems to me
The higher up you place your needs
The better off you'll get
The Enigma of your dreams can come
Then you're home free and yet
Had you settled for second place
You're apt to slowly find
That when you cheat yourself of needs
You leave yourself behind.
keep on reaching--it makes one strech themselvesi love the wisdom included in this write

Better to believe in faires than Nietche, Tolstoy, Marx etc, fairies are more near to reality than those fools...
Ahhh Susan you are a dreamer like myself I believe and we dreamers always are reaching for the utmost levels...nothing wrong with that. We will never touch if we do not reach and stretch for the stars. Lovely write dear one.

Why settle for second best. . .
Simply and wonderfully expressed
I really like the way this poem is personally addressed.
