It's that funny beat that builds out of nowhere.
It's the hairs that stand up proud on the nape of your neck
The glazed-over eyes from being close to a NOVA as it burst
Or the flashcube, the old fashioned kind , with that POP!!!!
It's the human mind that swaps BOOMS with the raw creature coming up...and losing it's grip
The ZOOM when the room swirls and the head slowly goes back exposing the beautiful arch of the neck
The eyes that slowly ROLL somewhere... MYSTERIOUS
It's the absolute banishment of all logic and the ensuing race from nerve to nerve to nerve
Like the Morse Code of body language I THINK!
It's the body collapsing to the passion of a lover so familiar that PLEASURE means more than just 'to please'
Have you ever lit a match...put it to a sparkler then twirled around in the misty night air or watch the silver tinsel form on a lake when the sun is setting?
That's the affect ... of passion
Ever forget where you are...
What day it is or time?
What is TIME when real passion utilizes it's mystery to erase that fact?
Ever build up so much steam inside that you JUST KNOW you will burst...
Then go beyond that?
This is the affect passion has on lovers...REAL LOVERS.

I have put a lot of it into my music and still do; but can't say I've quite experienced the kind that your rhapsody is about; but YOU sure HAVE by evidence of this passionate verse!
Susan, you've captured that true passion between two lovers and expressed it so well. There's no other feeling quite the same and it does things to the body we can only feel through true love. It's a high like sitting on top of the moon and realizing where we are. It's a high that's truly hard to describe but you've done it well!
Oh Susan you captured the magic of passionate love that comes so rarely in life. I think we all love and are loved but to have the affect of what you speak is out of this world. I have experienced it only once and never again. Yet though it eventually brought me pain I will never regret it as long as I live and breathe.
