Poem Artwork

Soaring on wings of the endless dawn
Skimming the earth...only as pawns
Before we know it...
In no time at all
We'll deserve what we have
With no where to fall
Let favorite illusions be as they must
Fleeting they come
As going they rust
We've visited before
Devored it all
Savored the taste and just had a ball
Together as friends
Escorting our muse
Shared ageless beauty and boundless reviews
Dearest of hearts and ageless ambitions
Hold me quick...fast
Keep tight this transition
Tomorrow will come and in all our haste
The sunset will blossom with no after taste
Then just as the midnight collapses around us
Our daydreams balloon ...
Our tears become rusted
Our hearts will regain what beat it remembers
As dawn brings new drama to dying old embers
And daylight reminds us that living is pain
Until nighttime commits us to travel again.

Isn't it so nice when one can travel to the ends of the Universe with but a thought...or within a moment...with wings let us soar from the ending of a year into the beginning of another...

May your Christmas be a day filled with joy...

Love and Peace...

In just the last verse of this poem you've said more than most even
care to think about. You and I, we live hard and love deep and never
fail to care.

Love, Pierre

It's an up and down, sideways and bottoms up . . . Sounds like a twisted country son, huh? . . . Still, life is what it is . . . It has taken me many moons (little Injun lingo dere, hope not to offend Chief Running Water) to understand and better than understand . . . Accept . . .

Awesome. I soared and crashed with your words, your imagery, your muse and yes, I have felt this way. Bravo. Liz
