Let's say that things are different
Coming in the New Year
Let's say that life will blossom
Without all those tears
And what if war is obsolete
Will anybody care
Will harmony complete the mood
Of old warriors who always dared
Just what if there's a miracle
Complete with happy hearts
Full stomachs for those who're starving
What a GREAT way to start
Thinking on a full stomach
New life in tired old eyes
No longer words like "strife"
Or "hatred" and those "Lies"
Just what if this year is different
With everyone intune
It would justify the misery
It took to frown our moon
It's not that all far-fetched
It can happen all the same
If each and very nation
Denounced their own war games.
Susan you write of what is in all of our hearts, now if only it would be in the hearts of the leaders of all nations! We must pray without ceasing for this to happen! Thank you for this uplifting poem of hope!
Oh, if it could be so...but mankind will never learn to speak without the use of weapons or bombs. Sad, isn't it? Here's hoping...a toast to peace in the upcoming year. Well penned, Susan.
A beautiful thought, wouldn't that be the best miracle we could recieve? Enjoyed this touching and profound write my friend! Well done!

My sentiments too, Susan. What a great inspirational write my friend. Excellently penned. Someday, maybe God will bless us like that. We can only hope and pray for now. God bless.
This book consists of a 150 pages of Christian poetry about the end of time and the Second coming of Jesus Christ not as a servant but as a King, the King of kings. To bring righteousness and peace to the earth and restore the government of God! Peac
