This is dedicated to a Marine artist friend of mine from West Palm Beach, Gerald Mickley. The actual art piece hangs in my livingroom. It moves with magic. Although it is a subliminal magic it activates the undersea as though it is all fluid.

Floating in a Prussian blue sea
Titanium white for foam from the surf
Living and movements birthed from he
He being this artist...talent given from God
Brushes with oil and lightning speed
His senses, emotions giving this nod
"Mrs. Green" he calls this wonder
The honor he gives in her eyes
Oceans of blues she dives under
Greener is she...then I sigh
What gift it is to have vision
To swim with the creatures of God
Animate strokes with sunlight
Paint love in a smile and a nod
So great is the eye of the artist
He visions life he can't see
He animates love in a brushstroke
He breaths life into pictures for me
His azures and cobalt...the aqua's
The whites and bubbles so blue
Backgrounds of teals flow to midnight
Then life lives in the seas for me too
This turtle is love with emotion
She's passion given in colors
She's coming and going in his mind's eye
Moving with blues and the corals
The artist of marine life and nature
His hands that gives magic to us
He paints the life of the ocean
Then donates his love with his brush
He lives with love on his island
He smiles and shine come to hearts
His creatures are love with his passion
"Mrs. Green" lives...she swims for his art.
