Don't ask me for a miracle
Look around, just look around
Life is a miracle
Profound.....it abounds
Bursting with joy
Happiness and love
If you're looking for a miracle
Lift your head up
Look above
Look around and feel life's magic
The squinting of new life
From infants to the whole world
Look at man and his wife
Ask me for a miracle
It's a simple thing to see
Miracles feed from compassion
It's part of you and all in me.
The reversed out image says it all... the miracle of the unseen as well as the seen. You bring the two into both balance and tension in your usual inimitable style. You have a natural feel-good gifting in your writes, Susan. Bless you, Kate xx
Art met sublimity and lighted the lamp of creativity... A poem is a miracle... EUREKA! "Ask Me for a Miracle" shows the arrows that point the way to BLISSFULCITY.
Haven't I been saying this all along? hmmmmm. Just kidding with you Sue. Absolutely wonderful job you've done with this write. Perfectly said and so well explained. God bless.
Miracles scare the hell out of me! I never ask for one, never recognize one when it comes along. They are for dreamers, for you prove me right in your poem. Those who look for miracles are the same who don't recognize that being alive and being able to read your ppoetry is miracle enough! Good words at a good time of te week. Hang in there, Girl. Show us your best. - Love, - Bill
If everyone had your muse! Most go to their dreary jobs from their dreary marriages thinking of bills and wondering how they will pay for their addictions... nothing more than distractions. Make babies without a thought and then feel saddled with the responsibility.

The last three lines solidify this perfect poem . . . Miracles are, and can be, in a smile . . . Blood given for life . . . Spooning in the morning as two lovers become as one . . . Miracles . . . Yes, they are here and now and all around . . . Just look at that Robin Red Breast . . .

We should all be doing that, each and every day; it might even cause us to not be in such a hurry to destroy it.
