It is easier to speak of a masterpiece
Than to create one yourself
It is passe' to border illusion
If we only collect regret
And it's human to act negative
While Godly to be esteemed
But immortal to leap boundaries
That are precious in our dreams
Fear can be a teacher
It's there to make us strong
It's okay to be a failure at times
And it's mortal to be wrong
You can live inside the box today
If the painting is yours but for mine
It would be of far more interest to me
If I painted outside the lines
To age is something that bothers us all
From infancy to the end
But I'd rather outgrow my body my love
Then live on as a forever friend.
