My Soul Remains With You

Reflecting on my loving persona
----------------------------------

When you love someone congratulate yourself

Humans fall in love infrequently

Lust is there main agenda

But I? Even as a dumb little boy, the Lord blessed me with a big heart

My emotions just grew to endless proportions 
Now in my December years I await my next destination

But in these final days I am suppressing my sentiments

I have too, because I love her even more so

It is uncanny how much I love some women

They rest in my heart felt kindness

Writing there special words of ecstasy

Tuning into my enchanted feelings

I may be alone, but my soul remains with you

Indeed you describe what true love is - it is not lust. Your poem reminded me of the song "Cherish" which says all there is about the beauty of true love. I read this poem 3 times and each time it brought some deeper meaning. Excellent!
