you just catch a deadly pox:

choose the incorrect direction?
just might die of staph infection:

offend a little leprechaun?
then count your luck forever gone

ignore a wistful 4-leaf clover?
simple life may soon be over:

& if your brisket's nice and lean,
make sure it's never ever-green!

Great poem Ma'am. In Savannah we all claim to be green on St. Patrick's Day but for some reason "that old black magic" keeps on shinging through anyhow:-)
