Different

Something just a little Different than I normally would write.

 

DIFFERENT
 
Different loves
Different hates
Different choices
We all listen to different voices.

Different fears
Different wants
Different needs 
We’re a melting pot of different breeds.
 
Different concerns
Different habits
Different shapes
We all have our own escapes.
 
Different colors
Different desires
Different sizes
Our world is full of big surprises.
 
Different companions
Different enemies
Different friends
Somehow we all must make amends.
 
Different cities
Different counties
Different states
We all experience different fates.
 
Different countries
Different continents
Different universe
Objective: Leave it better, never worse.

Different enemies
Different friends
Somehow we all must make amends.

We are all different, and as your poem seems to indicate, we need to prize the differences instead of fearing them.
