Recently George Carroll wrote a poem which got me to thinking about our space program being discontinued. That, in turn, prompted me to write an article which I posted here on the Den yesterday. To be honest, I am truly surprised at the minimal amount of controversy and conversation that has resulted from the shutting down of our space program. So, in addition to the article, I decided to pen the following poem in hopes that it might generate some comments.
