Someone left this poem title on one of my writes. Thought I would try to address it poetically.

No one can stop other poets from expressing,
especially one poet trying to fight hate depressing.
As I wander around this crazy world,
there's too much hate on a tornado swirl.
Even on this AD board,
there's some foolishness and hate that needs a cut cord.

I write about love for several reasons,
one is because of my own personal treasons.
I don't like all of the foolishness and hate I see,
quite a bit of it is pointed toward me.
For those who point their swords,
part of me wants to throw foul words.
But I don't resort to my bad side,
I feel better on a love ride.

Sorry for trying to spread a little love light,
never thought we had too much in sight.
In a world short on love,
maybe more should give hate a shove.
Just a poetic point,
that my writing tries to annoint.

But most demons and evil people,
even arrogant selfish foolish people,
sad and unhappy people,
negative and crappy people,
want a be and refuse to see people,
and any other type zappy persons who exist,
tries to suck others up in there tornado twist.

Seems like they don't want to see others loving and happy,
because their butts are so crappy.
I don't follow negativity,
this is why I try to write so much positivity.
Love is as positive as the sun can shine,
so I keep it real close in mind.
From brain it goes to ink,
enhances the way I think.

Even if I want to beat someones butt,
I back off and let love cut.
It's not all for others,
it's the way I prevent hate smothers.
In the long run I'm a happier less troubled being,
when I spend my time not always fighting.

But maybe this is just in my world of know,
so go ahead and see if negativity will seed grow.
Hope there's a good shovel for all the cold snow.
The storm will be cold,
with no heat to keep hold.
positivity warms,
love charms.

Word!

Grady,

A lot is going around in the name of critiquing...people who don't know anything other that posting KNEEJERKING COMMENTS pose as constructive critics...It is a shame, especially when you come to know that they are in the arena for 30 years...(I believe them, since they boast of keeping all their info on their bio pages)

A sign of acute identity crisis and mental depression can sometimes force a person to post such desperate reviews...DONT waste a penny for them, buddy...COZ these people neither can fit in formal discussion boards nor in popular forums...I KNOW SOME OF THEM VERY CLOSELY!!!

Excellent poem...

Keeping loving, Grady, and spreading love around you, some hateful people will never change but you don't have to be intimidated by them. TY for this poem.

Constructive criticism should be made in form of a discussion with courtesy to point out what works in a poem, and what doesn't work. It should never be in any form of bullying and degrading another poet's and call it critique. I've been around many sites to know the difference between good honest critique and bullying and degrading.

Good write Grady.
