writing terror,
strike a mind
to feel inferior.
Different views
of a soul,
flip the page
check, scroll.
Don't publish
nothing in word,
big critics
flying high
bird.

Fear of being
put down,
work red marked
all around.
No show of
perfection,
constantly needing correction.
Mistakes made
galore,
more you write,
even more.

Out in a ocean
of sharks,
vultures flying 
high in the
parks,
I write anyway
regardless,
because I'm not afraid
and
heartless.

Get out your
red pen,
makes no difference,
I'll write
again.
Smudge my work
in review,
still I'll write
up a stew.
As long as
I have brain,
may(oops)my
word
will rain.
