I guess we should all pray for those caught in Katrina and for those living their own personal Katrina.
Katrina have you seen her, nothing could be meaner? Issuing death and destruction, Lord help our contruction. Mother nature at her worse, hexing us with her curse.
In between coming and going, life can be a hurricane blowing, most take for granted what they are doing. Oh the games people play, wasting precious time each day.
Too late when the storm hits, no use trying to smooth lumpy grits. Taking life for granted, won't straighten a walk slanted. Bag full of stones, closet full bones.
Excellent write, Grady. We all have storms to endure, God help those whose storm was named Katrina and those who live their lives amid storms each day.
Take care,
Sherry
We don't know the day or the hour, like a thief in the night and in the blink of a eye all is gone. What a tragedy. Our prayers go out to all who have lived through this storm and mourn for their dead.
