Someones got to make the first move. When I was a young man it wasn't me, I was too shy. For this reason quite a few loves passed me by.

Poem Artwork

Everyday I see you,
but I just pass on through.
You stare back at me,
this we both can see.
Something is brewing,
I can feel my heart stewing.

One day we came so near,
still there seem to be some fear.
I know that I'm shy,
this is the reason why,
I simply pass on by.
Maybe you feel the same,
but one day I'll ask your name.

I really hate to gloat,
at least I had nerve to
send this note.
Our admiration can't be denied,
I feel we're both too dignified.
These feelings are peaking,
sooner or later we'll be speaking.

Go to it. When I was young (seems so long ago :)), I used to pass on just like this poem. I was afraid of rejection, until I learned that it is better to be rejected than to stay put and wonder what I've lost. Great poem. Victor
