A fictional poem expressing love in weight.

Poem Artwork

Wow this love has
hit me like a ton of bricks.
I need therapy
and no phony tricks.
I can't call on Zeus,
he was a God of abuse.
Love back then wasn't logical,
it was mostly mythological.
Here in the future I'm with,
I can't survive on myth.

Maybe I can take it up
with my love of desire,
the one setting my
heart and soul on fire.
I love her so,
all I can hope is
that she know.

Hello my sweet,
I'm guilty of
loving you complete.
You have knocked me
completely off my feet.
I've surely had to
take a firm sweet.
My legs are shaking,
but my hearts not breaking,
of this there is no mistaking.
The weight of a ton usually hurts,
however this weight only flirts.
