A compliment came from
a complete stranger
Tonto had the Lone Ranger
My family
won't even visit my den
My wifes family same again
My friends you can forget it
they want all the attention
but will not even mention
I gave out books
hardly any even acted like
they gave it the looks
It's been this way for years
so you see I have no
getting attention fears
On the den it's about the same
dead azz review flame
But I suffer no attention shame
I write, verse and
go ahead anyway
could give a chit
what others say
or don't say

Don't feel bad. You are not the only one treated this way. It is common behavior.
I personally think if someone reads a poem, they should, at least, have the decency to comment. It's only right. Now, I don't always review everything you write, but I try to. Good points you raise; bravo!
