Some of you might
think I'm viewing
from the top
But I'm on the bottom
looking up
just like you
The only difference
in me and some others is
I can take the
worst azz kicking
and keep on ticking

I do have a choice
we all have choices
I chose to take
a licking
and keep on ticking
I'm an eagle on the ground
trying to fly around

A bird of say
I care nothing
about prey
My only prey is
the words I prey on
each and everyday
to have my
poetic say
