This is fictional, I love negative and positive verse. This is just poetic expression because us poets do reveal parts of ourselves. The only way not too, is to not verse at all.
Shut up poet
you're telling
Say something wrong
others start yelling
and don't do no
mis pelling
Don't have to guess
I missed a freaking S
Shut up poet
you're revealing
Revealing things
about yourself
Things you should
keep to self
Some of your darkness
Dark as night
is showing on your site
Is that wrong
or is it right
Do you want to
make peace or fight
Suffer fright
or take flight
Shut up poet
you're being misunderstood
You know you are good
But others think
you are whatever
trying to be too clever
Even though you think never
Just quit versing
When you do verse
don't do no cursing
Don't let emotions show
others will know
and by all means
do not put on a good
or bad show
You're dammed if you do
Dammed if you don't
either you will
or you won't
Refrain from being blunt
and by all means
no poetic stunt

Haven't a clue who you are referring to, but I certainly can think of a few poets I'd like the hell to shut up......but as you say, we're damned if we do and damned if we don't...there's always someone ready to put us down. Focus on the positive and let the trash fall by the way side...life is too short. Love ya! Holly
