Can't get a pony to do a horses job.

The heck with
the pony
It's better to
ride a horse
Pony might be
the wrong choice

Horses are stronger
they can run longer
Between all the bullchit
and dealing with it
a pony might quit
Children ride ponies
Adults ride horses
suppose to make
wiser choices

On this crazy poetic board
lions and tigers roared
Vultures and buzzards
soared
Children and ponies
might get floored

Most of the adults
act like children
Hardly any of the children
act like poets
Many of the adults
ride the poetic pony
They're too whatever
to ride the horse

I just jumped on
the poetic pony
At this moment it's
my choice
But I prefer staying
on the horse

Sometimes we are our own worst enemies when we begin to talk ourselves down...even though there's no one on our backs.

It is very discomforting to know that one is on the defensive side all the time, as if everyone would wake up in the morning and think of a scheme to harm us, when in fact, everyone else has their own lives to live, while we are still at a stand still for thinking whatever others are thinking about us.

It is a dark place, don't go there. Keep your head up high above the sea level and breathe easy. Learn to swim well.

I'm a friend, Grady.
