very deserving
no jealous swerving
had 72 plus reviews
on one poem
Some poets haven't even
wrote those many poems
But it shows the mind set
in the reviews we get
I'm lucky if I get five
no jive
I do understand the matter
my verse causes
brain scatter
served on a loaded platter
Some of us aren't
easy to review
I'm one of those in
the mix and stew
I understand my few
Sometimes I write
more than I review
I've been here for years
so what else is new
Uh...that wasn't aimed at me, was it, Gem?? Sounds familiar! LOL I get frustrated when people don't read my stories but they continually hit my poetry, when I am NOT a poet! I'm a storyteller!! I guess I should be grateful for whatever I DO get (be it on poem OR story), but I get jealous because I work so hard on my stories, and yet they (or stories in general) hardly get a second glance; poetry rules the roost around here, and it drives me CRAZY!! I guess it's because poetry takes less time to read, and people don't want to be interrupted as they go about their busy lives. I can understand that, but it still drives me BAT CRAZY!! I understand your point, point well received! Very well penned frustration; I hear ya!

Truer words spoken below, if someone wants to have "Chicken **** Writings" they may get same in reviews, but as far as you are concerned you deserve those 72 reviews for one of the many you put out...ed
As poets we know its not about the reviews, but the quality of them, I am so blessed for the support I have found here, but as soon as I am done removing my poetry from this place, I will be moving on, (I'll stop by and read poetry from time to time, but I just need to move on)
