I'm pretty stable
whatever
I will serve verse
on my table
realistic or fable
I'm pretty hip to
the worlds ways
I don't waste time
letting it mess up my days
My verse stays
don't give a chit if
it never pays
or if it's reviewed
My pay comes from
not being affraid to
say phuck you
don't give a chit
if you like me
or my verse
Good bad or worse
I don't cotton
to others bullchit plotting
Neither do I need
anyones phucking praise
Will be this way the
rest of my days
and when I'm dead
so don't try to
phuck with my head
I do not suffer any regret
from my poetic mind set
Write, write, write! You have the poetic mind set: you do what you do, and you do it well. :)

Hi Grady,
This is such a sad and full of hurt poem, but we have to keep on writing. I know that feeling of complete silence and no sales, too.
We would like to feel that we are appreciated, but apparently it is asking too much. There are just too many hurting people out there. Guess we have to be thankful that they read in silence. I pray that you will hang in there, my friend.
I am trying to do the same. Always remember that God loves you. I am going to try review more often. It is just that life is hard to deal with most of the time.
There is something about the poetic mind-set which is just plain "get down and dirty and tell it like it is" and this is just as true today as it was in the 1960s with Kerouac and Ferlinghetti. We said it, we meant it, and we're here to represent it :-)
