Around here I use to get uptight
at times get into a fight
Now all I do is write
What's a poet suppose to do
on his or her poetic site
Other than at least try to
swing words and expression of might
We don't want to be wrong
Most of us want to be right
If possible
Many of us do the impossible

I've been around here in this den
longer than most next of kin 
I must like what I do
so let me go ahead and hoochiekoo
In my verse I get to babbling
controversal word do dabbling
I'll travel here and there
almost anywhere

Around here I have
become comfortable in mind
Most of the crap I turn a blind
I try not to see no evil
hear no evil
or speak no evil
Sometime I flunk out
but basically I know what I'm about
and that is
traveling the poetic route
