Dealing with people is a pain, in real life and in cyberspace. A peaceful day for me is one spent alone under a shade tree writing verse, then closing the book to no eyes.
I try to stay miles away from
crazy hard to get alongs
who'er always singing those
old sad songs
Dealing with my own is enough
got no time for others foolish stuff
I wouldn't even write verse
if I hadn't gotten into the curse
Being on this board is even worse
It makes us high profile
we let others in on our style
Then they start to get way off
course in profiling us
Some even won't to fight
and fuss
Sometimes in doing verse I'd
like to take a break
it certainly wouldn't be no mistake
but I'm in for the long haul
no matter how much I fumble the ball
The ball will just have to bounce
because OPG plans to pounce
Keep on bouncing that ball, Grady! It just might bounce on a noggin' or two. I'm a people-watcher, so can laugh at those that are "pains"!!
