Sometimes after reading a piece over we still find mistakes. We then correct the mistake only to find another one later.

I wrote it and read it,
missed my mistakes in it.
Went back and read it again,
found some more mistakes within.
The eyes seem to overlook.
mistakes in writing a book.
Mispelled words in form,
messing up even our poem.

We shoot for perfection,
but we still need correction.
There's always room for error,
then in comes the terror.
Even after weeks have gone,
mistakes still pick the bone.
But still we write on.

The least we can expect,
is to eventually find and correct.
The worst we can expect,
our peers may disconnect.
But nothing will stop strong writers,
they are word fighters.
They will write on,
regardless of mistakes upon,
negativity be gone.

We are only human, my kind friend.
I KNOW I make mistakes in my poetry.
I've never studied meter or form or
anything regarding writing. I just
write it and pray someone will like it!
I like this one:)
