90 percent good speller,
not good if I was a parachute packing fella.
Before my words land,
no mistakes are a part of my plan.
Mistakes made anyway,
they don't mess up my day.

I'm no perfectionist,
more or less a non-conformist.
Eyes of critics don't bother me,
neither do I let it stop me.
I write what I write,
I'd love for it to be all right.

A fantasy in the brain,
like a walk in the rain.
Fantasy land escapes my head,
I go on writing instead.
Words are like birds,
mistakes are only wrong words.
A few monkeys won't stop my show,
thought I'd let you know.

Monkeys in white coat
pencils behind their ear
they just love to gloat
they're nothing to fear....

Grady, way to go...especially love the line: a fantasy in the brain, like a walk in the rain...so refreshing!

How true, Grady; but if I see a mistake in MY story, it seems to throw the whole thing off, and then I am NOT satisfied until I fix it! LOL Still, a very good write! Enjoyed!~

(((HUGS))) and much love, your Tx. friend, Karen Lynn. :D
