Love and luck,
like being hit by a truck.
Very seldom,
does a truck strikem.
When it does,
we may end up was.
Love struck,
name of the truck,
just my luck,
sure cost me a buck.

Still paying,
not straying.
Love smashed,
luck crashed.
Flying on skill,
choked on its pill.
Love was a thrill,
why does it go
down hill,
like a spill?

Traveling down,
loves still around.
Packaged in disguise,
right before the eyes.
Skill rules,
luck drools.
Out of the two,
loves still a stew.

Round and round I go,
luck and skill on flow.
Need them both,
to keep up the oath.

Truck would have killed,
loved thrilled,
at least I'm alive,
love does thrive.
Up and down,
all around.
Motion of the ocean,
still a strong potion.

G

Good way to explain love, Grady. It's not easy to keep it going. Still like you wrote, Up and down, all around. Motion of the ocean, still a strong potion.
