With this lovely poem, you have caused me to relive attending the Hot Air Balloon Festival in Albuquerque, New Mexico, and driving through scenic Napa Valley in California. Good poetry has the capability to do that. And for all this, I thank you.

Ahhh . . . I was never in a hot air balloon. No, I found my thrills on the mean streets of America. My chances of survival was almost certainly less than yours in that balloon. Don't known how you can "sky write" in a balloon. Trying for a bit of levity here, Mary Ann, pass that toke.
