'tippy toe splash the drops" brings back vivid childhood memories. That picture could have been me when we lived in Chicago in my pre-teen years. Enjoyed this... r
'CRYSTAL CLARITY RAIN, FROM WHEN DID IT BEGIN...RAIN'S CRYSTAL REFLECTION, A BIT OF HEAVEN' PERFECT BEGINNING AND ENDING. LOVED THIS! THANKS FOR SHARING, MARY ANN. LOVE, BLESSINGS AND FAITH...JOYCE * HIS INSPIRATIONS
Without rain, most water would be too polluted to drink. Every drop is polluted by a single tiny fleck of dust that allowed the drop to be formed (condensed) on it. In thunderstorms, most drops of rain contain small amounts of acid created during lightning… Fusing nitrogen and oxygen from the air into nitric acid to be deposited on the soil so that plants will be fertilized. Simply amazing in creating the green heaven we call nature.
Yes, "a bit of heaven" to nourish the earth (and give children a great time jumping in the puddles)!! "a bit of heaven" indeed!! Thank you for this lovely offering, Lady Mary Ann!!
If you tend to believe romantic, passionate, masculine poetry is a thing of past eras, read "She Intrigues Me," and be swept away in the beautiful craft of a contemporary poet of love.
Questions, unquestioned discoveries, and answers in parable and rhyme…. This collection records a journey starting with a 1960s retrospective and the first man on the moon, moving to a new millennium welcomed in with a terrorist spin, family crises,
A further collection of poems, many from years in the Middle East, but also the California San Francisco and Central Coast areas (Santa Cruz, Carmel, Big Sur, Berkeley, etc.).
