Fading Dreams

We dream together in unison with dreams fading in and out of each other

Like when a man dies, and across the land a sense of loss is felt by his own twin brother

A special connection between two drifting souls with love in their hearts

So when you hear that call jump on that train when the engine starts

And go to that special one that is currently on your mind

Where the two of you can have that special kind

Of loving that only two who really care about each other can share

But, if that train doesn’t stop at your station you might be left to just care

About those feelings of the two of us together and it will penetrate through the heart of me

And when you get home from your busy day at work just give me a call so we

Can talk into the late morning hours of the dark rainy night

Because I just want to get closer to you and feel your strong loving light

That you shine so beautifully in my direction at any given time

And I will only return the favor in a karma instant, at the flip of a dime

My goal is only to make you laugh and be happy for the short time we have left here

Life is too short to fight and argue about things in the past laced with fear

Just wasting precious days alone that can be spent instead wasted with you

So next time you are away, and our song is playing on the radio between the other few

I will be thinking of you on my curious mind with hope I am on your inquisitive mind too
