Why god, do you make it so damn hard for an honest man to find a good woman?

True feelings of the heart are always intertwined with perplexing mental omens.

Can lovers also be friends in a world of your own making?

Can friends also be lovers in a world of my own taking?

When you are around I live in a constant state of confusion,

When you are gone I live in a distant state of frustration,

In the dark the sounds of ghosts follow my every move

In the light the visions of angels point the way through

A wise romantic once said, “Fear unlocks the keys to the heart!”

I would say conscious love locks the spirit back into place not apart

It doesn’t hurt that your body and soul is so very fine

I wouldn’t trade you in my dear, for the most expensive white wine

The older I get the more truly I become one

The more I know the more deathly I get undone

I guess in the end with or without you we all die alone

Hope to make contact with you again my love, in that unknown afterlife time zone…
