So I Lied

I declared that I would hide my thoughts. I said I would be your friend. Yet, I know now it was all a hoax. My true feelings came out, from within. How can one hinder the heart? How can I stand back and see As others you charm with your presence? Why can't it just be me? Tell me why you won't kiss my lips, Why you won't hld me close to you. Tell me why you don't share my thoughts For I feel they have to be true . Once again I end this note with a sigh and a cry for your touch. Maybe one day you'll understand me and then you'll love me as much.
