Use Me 'O' Lord

This is more of a prayer than anything.

Use Me ‘O’ Lord

You are my almighty God and King!

Forever I’ll love you, with praises I’ll sing.

So much that you do my thanks I will give.

For without your love in hell I would live.

But because of your son in Heaven I’ll be,

Singing with Angels through all eternity.

Thank you dear Jesus for taking my place.

Your will I will strive for each day in this race.

Help me dear Lord to give you my best,

As I submit to you, you do the rest.

Forgive me my sins and cleanse my whole heart.

Close by your side and never to part.

Use me O Lord, your vessel I am.

Flow through me each day as you work out your plan.

Great poem and prayer, Angela. I have to agree that it's like a psalm, and it could be a great hymn. I would like to hear what happens if you set it to music some day. I'm back on AD with full intent of doing more here--so I want to see more coming from you...Jerry

Great poem Angela!
Yes, I love to be used when the Lord does the using.
He is so gentle and kind and there is no fear of abusing.
Unlike man who has a hidden adgena and payback plans.
We can trust in the Lord; For He lifts us up, unlike man!
