Well penned, Ch'erie, and right to the point. Just think, we now have something like 6.4 billion of us peeps infesting our beautiful planet, and only a sparce few of them willing to admit the blame for what they do to destroy God's Creation. I guess it's so much easier to blame God (or Satan) for the things that are bad, and so much more difficult to point the finger at the mirror image. So, we started out with the Heavenly Father, and we morphed Him into the Heavenly Scapegoat. But, God has broad shoulders; if He ever shrugs, we will be in deep doo-doo!

Totally spot on Ch'erie and you have delivered this powerful message with directness, specificity and yet the spirit of dialogue and tact. I wish we could engage in discussion more, instead of peeps sticking to the old adage that you "don't talk about religion and politics" in public for fear of being judged or viewed as judgmental. But it's steel sharpening itself against steel in my view... We all need to thrash our ideas around in order to better understand all our various perceptions of Truth. After all, we are all just one beggar directing another beggar where to find bread, aren't we? We all want to "get where its at" in the end... TY for this on the button write. Kate xx

The only people I've known that play the 'blame' game are those that could not, would not face themselves in the mirror to take responsibility for their actions.

Victor said it. I always find places which need cleaning when I search my soul through my eyes in a mirror. Stay-and make youself see you in your own eyes. Sometimes we don't want to face the truth in the mirror....but it is screaming at us to cleanse the soul.

I have yet to find any wrong that God has done to me. Yes, some others have not been fair, but it is I who cause myself the most harm. I repent.....true repentence. Why do humans blame God??????

Known fact that if it is great we take the credit and if it fails we blame God, why I don't know. I grew up being taught that we have the knowledge to do and know right from wrong and therefore we have to be responsible for our doings. Wonderful write. Thanks

Man will always blame God because he's arrogant and can do no wrong. So God takes the blame... or somebody else sometimes. But we never look straight into the mirror and ackwoldge our faults. Great poem. Victor

Splendid tribute and uplifting poem for all believers. However, most of humanity blames god so we don't have to blame ourselves or Satan, for that would mean he is a force that causes us to sin, and that means we are not living according to Creator's plan. Once you admit that you have to begin to see the truth, and truth as you know is very difficult to handle.....We are wily wheedlers always looking to get out of taking responsibility for our actions;-)

Now this is good poetry. I pray this poem reach hearts far and near. You have some who blame God and some who say there is no God. It's really sad. Our prayers are needed. God bless and keep writing for His glory.

High Country Girl,
I've seen it so many times. Man won't take responsiblity for what they do..its always someone elses fault..even God's. This hits a cord with me, Che'rie. I'm glad you wrote about it. Maybe someone , somewhere will see 'themselves' in this. I know you opened a few eyes with this one.
