I can see myself
in you,
beneath the top
of waters
I'll never cross,
and I'm so lost
without that hand
to lead me
where I've never been.
What we had
was everything,
I couldnt ask for more
than that innocence,
but all things loved
come to an end,
and even this
did'nt last.
I still feel you
in my skin,
and your scent
penetrates me
with every breath.
So turbulent,
under the surface,
just boiling
on the inside.
But nothing matters,
not in this,
and no one matters,
cause I'm giving in.
Beautifully expressed...nice flow to this as well.

Jason, I remember being in a place like this once, and you have captured in your words such an expressive picture of a disillusioned soul - Great writing!
I really liked the spacing in this, it read more like a hoght process and I really lke that in poetry. Great work.
