If words meant anything
you'd have them all from me,
but after so many years,
when we've moved further
from one another
than we ever were near,
what good is an apology?

Apologizing and not meaning it means nothing. Apologizing through action is the key to a good relationship.

Apologies perhaps, over the course of time, may not matter, but forgiveness or acceptance helps. Getting on with life without the worry.
