Sitting in class
a thousand times
my eyes have found your body,
sought it out,
my senses being overwhelmed
with the scent
of everything you are.
Every inch a woman,
every inch the goddes,
and such hell on my flesh.
And sometimes,
so rare,
we make contact.
My skin
touching yours,
or a leg,
or a hand,
would somehow
through the universe
defy the infinite,
attract,
and happen to collide.
And I reel,
shrink back,
denying everything I am
because Ive moved away from you.
Because Im afraid
of what you make me,
just a beast
of need.
But regardless.
You are desire,
you are passion,
you are life.
You
are all my love.

I don't think this poem was nice. No one will ever know what could have happened. It is cowardly. But, oh I guess at least once, all of us are that way.
