I wasted everything,
thoughts
and dreams,
pieces of me,
all on you.
And apart
we remain together,
always unsevered,
heart strings
binding me
unendingly to you.
This marionette,
conjoined by love,
everything it was,
and everything
it will never be.
And my only control,
while in your hold,
is to close my eyes,
ignore the ties,
and pretend that they wont guide me
right back into your arms.
Harmed,
but never sorry;
and I think that's the worste part.
