I must sleep,
I must dream,
I must escape
from this meaning.
To a place
far away,
where I'm free
from mistakes.
And the sweetness
of being,
unclouded,
I see.
Where I'm safe,
without pain,
and you lay
down with me.
Where I surrender
with pleasure,
without breath
or contempt.
Because I carry you,
with me,
two hearts
in one chest.
And softly,
we fall,
like ashes,
like rain.
And softly,
we lose,
we're one,
we're the same.
So then here,
in the end,
with nothing
unsaid;
I confess now,
to you,
you're my life,
you're my death.
