He's just a child A child of pure innocence Kidnapped while walking home from school No one sees or hears his cries By a man no one knows A small framed boy at the age of six Mommy and daddy frantic losing their minds His identy taken away You are my son now that will not change A new name, a new look Remember this is our little secret Threatened, tell someone and I will beat you He's moved around from town to town Never to stay in one place to long Always one step ahead of the police A haunting secret that takes him all through life A life forever without his real family Nancy 01/13/2003

Such a perfect way to discuss such a terrible, yet so very realistic topic. Very moving, indeed and I'm sure a comfort to anyone who has experienced the situation.

When my oldest son was a child, he disappeared one day, we live on a farm and so he finally turned up after we searched for over an hour. It was so frightening and the longest hour of my life. I can't imagine losing a child or having one go throgh this misery. A moving write.
