Poem Artwork

Beauty itself is but the sensible image of the Infinite. Francis Bacon

OR AT YOUR BEAUTY...CRY

The breath of earth, exhales so sweet
As fragrant, perfumed air
And as I breathe....caress received
I sigh...in silent....prayer

Please wait for me, under the tree
That stands down by the lake
Sleep in the silence of the wood
As I... by kisses........wake

Do match me for a kiss or two
Or three, or four, or five
Caress me love....then slip into
My core......and come alive

Or might I guard you as you dream
And kiss your sleeping eyes
Lit by the filtered sunlight streams
Or at... your beauty... cry

I could read your poetry all day! You blend the words in a meter and rhyme that is uncanny. I have read several of your poems, and I think each one is the best yet! I can't pick my favorite poem, but I do believe I have a new favorite poet. You have touched me with your words.

ABSOLUTELY!!!! Spring fever leading headily into a Midsummer Night's Dream, I'd say, Anita! I just love the way you do your last lines... I think they're your real poetic signature and they make me sigh blissfully!... The sleeping face of your loved one that is so beautiful in that peaceful state... then all you want to do is to ravage it with passion!! I know the feeling...!! Hormones rule, OK!! Luvin ya work as always, Kate xx

Beautiful picture Lady A, just like an enchanting forest I used to visit as a child. And when I read the poem I felt enchantment in my soul to read your beautiful words. Bill Murray
